I had my septoplasty over a month ago now and over the past week I have
had awful headaches and pressure above my nose. My eyes have also felt
a little strange as well, I've also had some discharge down my throat -
is it common to get some sinus infections after having a septoplasty
still despite the operation aiming to help my symptoms.

I still have some slight blood in my mucus on one side of my nose which
I would have expected to have cleared up by now?

I had a post-op infection that lasted for six months.

The surgery is NOT intended to cure your sinus infections.  It's
intended to create healthier sinuses that can fight off infections more
easily.  But that healing process can take months to reach fruition.
