I had a cold over xmas and two weeks after that I started to feel ill again,
I had this boring type pain in the bend of my eyebrow, and my eyelid swelled
and went dark brown.
Since then I;ve had lots of pain in that area, the pink blob in the corner of
my eye swelled and the tissues around the eye under the eye lid swelled also.
My vision has changed in that eye (other eye is lazy).  It feels as if
itsturned in although it looks straight and it does not see as well as it
used to since this started
I went to an eye specalist who said there was nothing wrong with my eye but
sounded like sinuses.
I went and had a ct scan and this is the findings.
There is mile mucosal thickening in the alveclar recess of both maxilary
antra.
aproxx 10 mm retention cyst in the medial wall of the right maxilary antrum.
muscosal thicking is seen in the left nasolacarimal sac
mild muscosal thickening is seen in the left sphenoid sinus.

My worrying symptom is the change in eyesight, do you think the sinus can
cause such a drastic change, having the left as my only working eye it has
affected me very much.

What treatment did the doctor recommend?  My sinuses can definitely
affect my vision and i don't have a cyst.  I would think any pressure
that is built up in your sinuses could effect your vision

It seems that my eye seems to have closed in, like it can;t see as well
pheriphally.  Hard to explain, but I know that my good eye isn't working as
it used to.

The results I got from my regular Doctor, he said treatment is up to the ENT
specailist, who we are still waiting to see,

I get a feeling like something has swollen in the corner bend of my eyebrow
and when it happens it knocks my vision off.

one thing that helped me was my massage therapist did some lymphatic
drainage on me.  My vision does return to normal when the swelling
goes down. Have they tried giving you a steroid shot yet?  I had this
weird unexplainable swelling on the left side of my face/eye.  It was
so sporadic i could not pinpoint the cause.  It would last for about
3-7 days at a time 1-2 times a month.  Once they gave me a steroid
shot and within a hour the swelling was gone.    That labeled it a
"allergy"  Nothing else helped.  The swelling isn't as prominent as it
used to be, irrigation has helped.  With the swelling i had a lot of
fatigue.
