Hello,
I've had fluid in my middle ear for 10 weeks now... hearing
loss is bad. I don't think I have an infection. Should I consider
having tubes put in? After how long should I really worry?
Thanks RS

This is one you should see a doctor on.  Your hearing is something not
to be messed with.  If you have fluid, it is a medium for bacteria to
grow and then you have an invection.  There is a trick where you place
your ear in a bowl of water and then pull your head up quickly.  This
can remove fluid from the outer ear.  Maybe pseudophed will dry up
excess fluid.  But see a doctor on this one.
