One my my upper front teeth has a feeling now and again through the day as
if someone is pressing on it from the front or back. Can anyone tell me what
this might be - I suffer with bad sinus problems which I will be having an
op for within a few months, but I thought sinusitis didn't affect the front
teeth at all, or can it?

It can affect you teeth big time. You can develop something called a
"sinus track'.
http://www.waybuilder.net/sweethaven/MedTech/Dental/OMPath/default.asp?iNum=0105,
a fistula from the sinuses to the root of a tooth.  Not a good thing.
