has the group ever discussed getting an adenoidectomy as a way to cut
down infections?

Of course, the ENT has never suggested this. But i have read that
bacteria can reside herein, and launch to the sinus area.

I have seldom read or heard anecdotally about adenoidectomy...other
than some reference to an enlargement in a child needing correction.

With few exceptions the adenoids shrink away after age 13.

Thanks doc. For all my research on sinuses, I know nothing of the
surrounding area !
