i use a neti pot.  Has anyone else ever experienced the flow from one
nostril working significantly better than the other direction?  why would
this be?  is it like their is a one-way valve that seperates the sinuses?

also, is the irrigation ever actually getting into the sinus cavities?
seems like the flow starts almost immediately.

It's a normal anatomical variant for one nostril to be a bit narrower
than the other.  If one nostril seems MUCH narrower than the other, it
can be due to a deviated septum.

As liquid flows rapidly past the sinus ducts, material can be sucked out
of the sinuses according to the Bernoulli Principle.
