Hi errfrsdaf,
I have been doing something like this for about 18 months. I continue to do
the steriod irrigation about twice each week and that seems about right to
keep things in check. My process is similar.
I am glad you are feeling better.

Lying face down and bending your head forcibly puts quite a strain on the
cervical vertebrae. Less traumatic would be lying on your back and hanging
the head over the bed.
For nasal polyps we have been pleased using Singular 10 mg daily.

I'm not lying face down. I'm standing and basically doing toe-touches.
It's been great for my back as well!
But as far as Singular goes... I've been on that for years with no
luck. I started it before my last surgery and continue it to this day.
Who knows... it may have slowed the polyp growth but if it did it
wasn't significant. Maybe it works better for others.

That's great! I hope I can cut down to twice a week but I think I will
stick with daily for a while.

This has made a massive change in my life! No kidding! My family
thinks I'm nuts because I keep pointing out the smell of ordinary
things that are no big deal to most people.

I have been using the Pulmicort for about 6 years now. I believe that
I was the one that brought it up on this forum as well. I am so
pleased that others have talked to their Physicians about this
process.
When I spoke to my ENT Dr and he scoffed. He doesn't make money by
prescribing Pulmicort. He makes money by doing surgery,,, over and
over and over. I don't go to him anymore either.
My Allergist that first told me of this process has since retired.
The Dr that took over his practice wasn't reall keen on the idea so he
wouldn't renew my prescription. As a result, I go to a different
Dr. When I told the new Dr of the process he raised a brow. Later in
the interview ( my first dr's visit is always an interview. he
passed) he told me that he would be open to letting me continue to
try this "new" method. After seeing the results he has numerous pt.s
on the Pulmicort and he is a big believer.
If your Dr won't open his narrow mind, then shop around and find a Dr
that has your health in mind.

How often do you do it? What strength are you using? This procedure
has totally changed my life and I'm not joking. I can smell and I
can breathe. I use 1mg once a day at night.
