I am aware that certain medications, both precription and over the counter,
are still effective after the expiration date indicated on the package.  But,
I am not sure about ointments/creams.  Does anyone know if products like
Bacitracin, neosporin, and the like are OK to use and are still effective
after the expiration dates?

Hard to say.  Personally, I wouldn't trust it.  If you don't get an
effective treatment, you're just culturing resistant strains of
bacteria.  Please only use antibiotics when you really need to.
