What exactly has Mayo patented with respect to administering
amphotericin B?  Accentia BioPharmaceuticals has been releasing
loads of press releases about sinunase which as far as I can
tell is just amphotericin B.  I've done the amphotericin B
routine without any results so can I expect that sinunase
will be any different?  Did Mayo just patent the idea
of treating chronic sinusitis with amphotericin B?

They patented a particular formulation of the medication, yes.  A
particular delivery mechanism.

Hey, if Adams Respiratory Therapeutics could actually patent GUAIFENISIN
*time-release* tablets after all these decades of OTC generic
guaifenisin, then Mayo Clinic can play the same game.
