I have had a bad cold and sinus infection over the past 2 weeks and during
the last week when the mucous has been at its worst I have been constantly
hungry - can this be a symptom of sinus/cold problems or is it likely to be
something else.

Anything that affects your daily routine, causing you to lose sleep or
get more bed rest or stay indoors more, is going to affect your appetite.

I find that post nasal drip makes my stomach feel a bit odd and makes me
want to eat to settle the feeling, which I assume is caused by swallowing
all the mucus.
