I had a physical Sept 2001 when my BP was recorded as 120/80.
When I went to Oakwood in October 2001 when this last bout started my
BP was 170/145, unless I was taking Advil, in which case it would drop
to 130/90.
Since it has been high or normal depending on how effective I was in
managing my sinuses.
There is a theory that the high blood pressure is due to sleep apena,
but I think there is a more direct correlation with the cogaulese and
amyloid that the bugs produce getting into your bloodstream.

More often than not, it's an adrenal problem. Think aldosterone.

No I don't think so.
I have been tested to the point of exsangination and no adrenal
abnormalities were found.

Are you on any decongestants?
During the FESS procedure, the surgeon undoubtedly put a powerful topical decongestant in your nose to dilate the nasal passages. (In my FESS, my surgeon put cocaine in my nose--ask your surgeon what he put in your nose.) And for post-op care following FESS, some surgeons advise their patients to squirt a little Afrin in their nose to stanch the post-op nosebleeds. Have you been doing that?
And any decongestants, oral or topical, can have the systemic side effect of constricting blood vessels and raising blood pressure. So does cocaine. The only time in my life I ever had high blood pressure was when I used Afrin for a cold.
When someone has a new bizarre symptom that seems to have come out of nowhere, the first thing to suspect is their medicine cabinet. There are other drugs that can raise blood pressure too:

Very true, and coffee can also raise blood pressure.
But if you are not taking decongestants or mainlineing coffee and you
take advil or asprin and your blood pressure comes down, then the hbp
may have a different cause. I think that that is why some hbp meds
are blood thinners.
