Anyone out there know of a pharmacy that dispenses nebulized
antibiotics, the kind inhaled through a little compressor machine? I
had luck with this in the past but the pharmacy, Sinulab in
California, went out of business. Would like to get them prescribed
again through my ENT, if we can find them.

An earlier posting made reference to this in a clinical trial being
conducted by Naryx Pharma. I called and they are looking for people
who have had sinus surgery and are still getting sinus infections. The
medication is, indeed, a nebulized antibiotic they are calling  SPRC-
AB01. Not a new antibiotic, but a new delivery system for a lot of
people. You can get more info on the clinical trial through their web
site. Be warned that it's a double blind study; some people get the
placebo.

My ENT prescribes Gentamicin in a 2ml vial which is mixed with 1 liter
normal saline. This can be used in any form of irrigator/nebulizer. I
posted here before that the nebulizer system spread an infection
through my entire sinuses and I no longer trust it.

The poster "chrisw" who posted the "Nose bleeding question" yesterday is
using a specially compounded aerosol of Tobramycin and flunisolide.  Why
don't you ask him how he went about it?

The Aerosol Science Lab in Camirillo is the one our group uses. Their phone
number is 866 552 7579. Their pharmacists do a nice job.
