I'm a novice at this, but have a quick question.
At age 50, I developed a nasal drainage problem.
The drainage goes down the back of my throat and a lot of it ends up
in my lungs. I think I may have a defect in the mechanism that
should cause me to cough this drainage up BEFORE it enters my
chest/lungs. I blame some of my health problems on this constant
liquid in my lungs and persistent cough.
So what I want to try is to just dry up my sinuses a little without
any other treatment.
What medicine would I look for?

I use a saline rinse at night as
I have post nasal drip which causes it to run down my throat and cause
an infection.
I use to take an allergy meds with a decongestant to dry it up.
This is what my MD recommended.
