Is there any topical corticosteroid that come in a form that could be
applied on your face over the sinuses and in will absorb through the
skin and reduce the inflammation directly in the sinuses?  Even though
it may not be able to reach all the sinuses at least it could helpful
for some people in conjuction with other forms of treatment.

Nuh uh.  It is very likely to suppress your HPA axis, though, and give
you a whole host of other ugly problems.

If your problem is a poison oak type allergic reaction, cortisones
will help.
If it is an infection it will reduce the swelling, but they supress
the immune system and will allow the infective process to proceed and
get worse, as well as possibly cause bone loss..........
