Sinus misery. Can Hydrogen Peroxide help?

I suffered with multiple sinus infections, year after year, for decades.
About five years ago, I had just completed a full course of antibiotics, but
a few days after that, I felt like I was getting another damn sinus
infection.
.
Out of desperation and frustration, I flooding my nasal passages with
DILUTED 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. It seemed to do some good, even though it was
very irritating to my sinuses, so I continued a series of infrequent
floodings over the next seven months and then basically stopped doing it. It
worked. It has now been over five years since my last sinus infection. I
seldom do sinus  flooding anymore, and I never do any type of sinus
irrigation.
.
I think that the infrequent peroxide sinus floodings  allowed
infection-damaged sinus areas to totally heal, by killing germs within the
sinus areas, thus keeping germs away from the damaged areas. I do not think
that flooding sinuses with a mixture of diluted 3% hydrogen peroxide, baking
soda and kosher salt kills an established infection, but I do feel that it
can treat minor sinus infections and it certainly protects damaged nasal
passages from re-infection until damaged membranes heal. I am not a health
professional. I am only posting what worked for me.

Interesting.

I've read your story.  I've sporadically used a few DROPS of 35% food-
grade H2O2 in my irrigation solution.  I sort of believe it's likely
to help, but ... really have no idea.

I'm glad it worked for you, and that you compiled and continue to
share your story.

Neil, thanks for the response.

I've never used the 35% peroxide, but I did try putting 3% peroxide in
both evaporators and with hot steam, but neither helped. It was
extremely frustrating, trying to find something that would take away my
sinus
misery. I was getting about three sinus infections per year. I am so
relieved that my sinus problems are gone.

I've now been doing sinus flooding, with peroxide, for about five years,
mostly during the early months, and have been getting feedback for about
three years, so I've learned quite a bit about the effectiveness of
flooding the sinuses with peroxide, and I keep the documentation
current, every time I learn something new.

Neil, I wish you much luck using the 35% peroxide!

Maybe Don Brady will check in next and tell us where he disappeared to.

Hi Susan! I was wondering if there were any still on that I knew. I hope
that your past couple of years have been great!

To answer your question, here is a review: I experimented with peroxide in
my sinuses because I was getting constant sinus infections, and I was
concerned that, one day, a sinus infection would spread to my damaged heart.
After finding that sinus flooding got rid of my sinus infection problems, I
started posting about it all over the Internet.

Then......, my heart failure and health started getting much worse and my
blood pressure was much too high. That's when I stopped posting about sinus
flooding and started research, to find out why my heart disease and health
was getting so much worse, and to find out how to get my blood pressure down
to a healthy level. My doctors were of no help at all.

I found out why my heart failure and health was getting worse, and have
reversed the situation, and now my average blood pressure is running around
125/74 throughout the day and night. I feel great and have lots of energy.

Now that I've got my heart failure under control, and getting better fast,
I've decided to check out if "Sinus Flooding" with Peroxide is still being
used, and if it is still helping others.

It's amazing. I haven't really checked in a couple of years, and I find new
people talking about how "Sinus Flooding" with Peroxide has really helped.
But..... unfortunately, people aren't being directed to the documentation,
which warns about possible damage to the Eustachian Tubes, or the Middle
Ear, if flooding the nasal passages with liquid is done improperly. That
worries me, so I'm reposting the Web Address of the documentation. Getting
fluid in the Eustachian Tubes, or Middle Ears, just makes a miserable sinus
problem even worse.

By the way, my "Sinus Flooding" website doesn't use advertising, except for
the free "counter" that I use, or make any money. I just maintain it as a
help to others.

Regards, Susan. Your post was a nice surprise! :)

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been dealing with such serious health
problems, and glad you've found a path to improving your health.

Hi CanDo,

Nice to hear from you after many months. I use hydrogen peroxide and kosher salt and
baking soda with luke warm tap water and it has worked wonders for me and my wife also.

Also helps us to avoid colds and viruses.

Please tell us how you helped your heart condition, etc.

Thanks.
