My ENT is a member of the American Rhinologic Society. Does this mean
he has more training or more skill than someone who is not member?

It means that he gets a magazine.  I don't know really.

The ARS website has some medium ok information on it.  If a doctor is a
member and utilized the resources he might stay close to cutting edge tech.
stuff.
Nothing is better than a patient that does their own research though.
