You can now get the pure mupirocin (the chemical in Bactroban) from Aerosol
Science Laboratory. You will need an Rx that specifies its use for pulsatile
irrigation.(they also can provide the Hydro Pulse).
Their phone is 866 552 7579

Hows it going?

(Not so) Amazingly, I'm still symptomatic and still with the daily
colorful discharge, even with that triad of antibiotics AND the
Bactroban added to my NaCl irrigation soup.

OTC, I'm doing the antacid/chewable C, pseudoephedrine, loratadine
(claritin), and every other day steam baths.

The overall congestion is reduced, but the fatigue hasn't, the upper
molar pain hasn't, the pain near the cheekbones hasn't, and the
rhinitis/leaking two hours after irrigation/"whale blow" hasn't.

Doc can't get me in any earlier than 4/10, so ... I wait ... and treat
the best I can.

Finally got back onto my bicycle once last week.  If I can get /that/
working again ... it always helped ... in body, mind, and spirit!

Thanks, Elizabeth ... both for asking ... and for all your help and
contributions to this forum!

And, thanks, DR. GROSSAN, for the lead on the mupirocin.  I'll get a
new Rx and look that way.

I am sorry to hear that you are still feeling flat.

Just for Grins you might want to get in tough with Hodges over at
PhageTherapy.com
His contact email and phone is on their web site.

There was a guy I read about that had been a professional bicyclists
that had something, I can't remember but I think it was sinusitis,
anyway he had had the infection for so long that his children could
not remember him
ever being well, but as I understand it when they gave the bugs in his
sinuses the viruses he got completely well and got his stamina back.

As I understand it the most expensive part of the treatment is the
airfare back and forth to the Republic of Georgia, and since you go to
Europe anyway you may be able to see what they have to offer.
