Has anyone tried using Serrapeptase to reduce sinus
inflammation? What were the results?

Do you know of any negative side effects?

It works pretty well.
Serrapeptase is the enzyme made by Serra bacteria in the gut of
silkworms to slices up amyloid proteins. Silk is an amyloid protein,
which means that iodine turns it black just as it does starch or
'amyla".
The curli and pili of pilliated bacteria are formed of amyloid protein
and those bacteria make soluible amyloid oglimeres and then catalyse
amyloid bungees that hold the bacteria to each other out of solution.

Taking doses equivilent to that given to rabbits in the Japanese
experiments did greatly reduce the viscosity of the goo, but it made
my trusty feet hurt badly in the arches and side of my heels.  Don't
know it that is bacause it was sliceing up Amyloid P that the body
makes and uses in ligimants, or because their was some bug there that
gave off toxin while dying.  If the latter, it could be different for
different people.
Lower doses are supposed to help arthritis, so it is a mystery.

These are called Proteolytic Enzymes. They reduce swelling and thin the
mucus by breaking up those protein bonds. BUT if swallowed, the stomach
enzymes inactivate the enzymes. My product Clear.ease is taken via bucccal
pouch - melt in the mouth - so it doesn't lose any effectiveness. The
thinning of mucus, reduction of joint swelling and sinus pain described
above does take place. Fortunately there has been no report of any foot
discomfort.

Also it is important that any protoelytic enzyme be callibrated in enzyme
units rather than in grams. Many are sold by grams/weight

yeah, used to chew 10 tabs along with Armitesinin from Smart
Nutrition.

Was not taking Armi the last time.
Pain might be from a bug not covered by Serra coming back.

Serrapeptase can be obtained in enteric coated tablet.

I found a couple of links that mentioned swelling being related
to serrapeptase consumption.
