I stopped the gentamicin irrigation after the Cleveland Clinic found
that some patients were getting systemic side effects from it. They no
longer recommend gentamicin irrigation.

Steven,
That's interesting becasue when I used the genta irrigation I was
still working in the hospital laboratory and ran toxicology routinely.
So I asked co-workers to draw my blood and tested it for genta levels
every three days for the entire 20 days I was on it since I was
concerned about toxicity and side effects. My serum genta level was
always undetectable. I fowarded all the results to Dr, Grossan for his
research to help him prove that his method, when done correctly, was
totally safe and effective.
When i read the old posts I saw that you weren't using the water-pik,
but a squeeze bottle, since your doctor had prescibed the genta for
you in a different dosage than what Dr. Grossan recomends.
But that was all so many years ago. How are you now?
