I use a CPAP with an ADAM circuit, it took me a couple years to get so
I could use it but now I can not sleep without it. My problem is every
night, or early morning about one or two AM, my nose closes right up as
if someone turned a valve, absolutely shut tight not able to get a
breath through it, so I have to get up and watch TV until about 8 AM
then it opens up. There is no rhyme nor reason that I can think of, for
this to happen. During the day all is great, I can breathe freely but at
that same time during the night, it closes up and I have to get up. Am I
crazy?

Perhaps you should dustmite proof your bedding.
Be worth a try.
Seems your problem is directly connected to your bedding.

I do not believe it is my bedding because it also happens at that time
while sitting in my recliiner, makes no difference where i am, twilight
zone?

Usually this is due to dryness in the nose. Try a moisturizing gel. My
company makes one called Breathe.ease XL Nasal Gel that my patients use.

I have the same problem and I have been using the ADAMS circuit for 3
and half years. Its great. Unfortunately I am using Afrin to get by
at night. I try not to use it during the day. I tried some
decongestants like Claritan-D but it aggravates some other health
problems. But when I did use the Claritan-D very briefly it
miraculously cleared up the sinus problem at night. I was amazed. I
breathe better out of my right nostril so I lay on my left side which
seems to help drain the right. Also the Breathe Right strips help a
little.

Afrin does a good job but it backfires on me so it winds up even worse,
especially if iI use it two days in a row. Wish I could use it more
often
