Biaxin XL - 1 or 2?

I figured I'd bragged on myself too soon, because it looks like the
old sinus infection is back again.  I had a refill I didn't use from
back in July when I had my last one, so I got it refilled.  Made it
home and looked at the label - it said one a day, not the two at one
time per day.  I called the pharmacy to see if it was a mistake.  They
checked and said, no mistake.  Too late to call my doctor (the
allergist who prescribed it, or my ENT).  I didn't keep my old bottle
to see what it said.

So my question is:  Should I take as prescribed or go for what I've
taken before, (and what the Biaxin XL dosage literature recommends)?
Any opinion regarding if the allergy shots could make a difference in
the dosage?  I'd think not, and haven't found any link that suggests
it.

I'm still on it. I've done 3 weeks and will be on it for 2 more weeks.

For me, two a day.

It's hard to know what yuou should do.

Obviously, if you take it twice per day, you have less days of it than with
once per day.

If you have enough to take it twice per day for five weeks, I doubt the
doctor had prescribed it 1x per day for ten weeks.

Why can't you call the doc about it?
