Hi, I am new here, and have chronic sinusitis. I am pretty much at a
loss of what to do anymore. I have had 2 surgeries, allergy
treatments, tried diets, and irrigation and yoga, and everything under
the sun. I am constantly on anitbotics and very frustrated.

Have you considered relocation?
If there's something in your environment that is making you sick, maybe
you should try living elsewhere for an extended period. Take a long
vacation for a month or two in a place with less pollution (maybe New
Mexico, or a coastal community like Santa Barbara), and see if your
condition improves.

I wouldn't recommend New Mexico! Right now the Forest Service is doing
controlled burns in the northern mountains (Sangre de Cristos, Jemez etc.)
and there is smoke pollution over half the state. New Mexico is dry, dusty
and people suffer from very bad allergies here 11 months of the year.
Albuquerque has temperature inversions because of the trough formed by the
Sandia mountains and Rio Grande river. This means that in the winter,
pollution is trapped along the river valley for days at a time. I've lived
in NM for 45 years and love the place but this is not a mecca for
respiratory and allergy sufferers.

We all understand and emphasize with you. Try reading thorough some of
the posts on this group. You may not find the answers you are looking
for, but then again you may. At any rate you will know that you are
not alone. Have you seen an ENT? Have you considered a fungal
sinustis? What are your symtpoms?

Hi,
I am onto my fourth ent. Ct scans never seem to share anything..when I
have an infection, my throat is extremely sore and dry, I am congested,
have drainage and post nasal drip which bother my stomach, dizziness,
fatigue, sinus pain, low-grade temp, etc.
I am on augmentin right now, so feel better..but as soon as course is
done, I always get sick again. my last appt. the dr did a scope in my
sinuses, and on the left side, there was "polpy tissue."
thanks,
Monika
