Hello,
My wife(33) had a Caldwell-luc surgery 13 years ago. About 5 months
ago, her right cheek began to swell. It's not very painful but
sometimes it bothers her in a way so that she touches her cheek and
rubs it.
She went to a speicalist and the doctor said that it probably is an
sequela of the surgery. While my wife is very worried about it, the
doctor doesn't treat her very seriously and he doens't look reliable.
We'd like to find another specialist.
Can you recommend a good specialist in LA county? We have an HMO and
may need to change our medical group. But that's fine as far as the
specialist is good.
Also, if you have an experience with such a case, please share with us.
Some research says that a cancer of a kind shows very similar symptom
to hers. She took a CT and it showed the problem part but the doctor
couldn't say what it is for sure.
Thanks.

sinus surgery and present yourself to him/her
you probably are going to need some detailed ct scans
