I hope I'm doing it right. I followed then instructions. Did it once
yesterday and once today. It seems to go in one nostril and out the other. I
don't see much gunk coming out, just the stuff that went in. I also don't
see anything happening 20 minutes later like it talks about in the
instructions.
Keep in mind my main symptoms have been fatigue and sore throat. My
breathing has been fine thoughout.
Earlier I had bronchitis effect which cleared up with antibiotics.
Still feeling lousy.
Any more suggestions (other than patience). This all started exactly 3
weeks ago.

Mel,
You might consider posting the recipe of what you use to irrigate.
I usually have the same symptoms as well as the same results from
irrigating. I wouldn't worry about it, and would continue what you're
doing.
But if you're not feeling well, consider seeing an allergist. That
might be your problem.

When I have a major sinus flare-up, nothing initially comes out either.
..This is probably what led to the flare-up in the first place.
...However, I have found after a few days of steady irrigation, the
infection breaks, and out flushes the yellow and green material. ...I
think it is a good sign that you can at least irrigate in one nostril,
and have the liquid come out the other with no problem. ...Keep the
interior exit ducts from the sinuses clear, and you help your body help
itself. ...I would suggest you keep up the irrigation regimen.
.Also, try breathing the solution in while you're irrigating. It won't
go into your lungs. You'll feel the solution build up in the back of
your throat, then you spit it out. ...Also, keep your head as low as
possible, and rotate. By doing this, I have felt the solution go into
the frontals, where it doesn't normally go if one irrigates in an
upright position. ...Also, try to get hold of a spray like flonase.
This has worked wonders for me. (And whatever you do, stay away from
any decongestant sprays like dristan or otravin. ..They'll do nothing
more but make your condition worse.) Good luck... Jon
