Is this method of irrigation ok/safe, is there anyone in this group
currently using this method?

I have used the peroxide mixture, maybe 1/2 dozen times in the last 3 or
4 years. Has it helped me?  Yes-- without question, however, I'm not
exactly sure if I benefited more from the irrigation mixture itself, or
the extreme irritation it caused which induced my sinuses to purge
themselves.
...As for safe... Well.. Many people use the 3% H²O² mixture full
strength as a mouthwash...  They pour the H²O² full strength on a
cut (In fact, I (and a zillion others) have done this 100s of times),
with no permanent (or apparent) damage done to the tissues.
...Moreover, unlike its other uses, the irrigation mixture has the 3%
mixture, further watered down to an insignifificant amount -- lest one
were to writhe in pain on the floor.

Is it safe? Well, the jury is still out on this one. But I wouldn't
hesitate to use it again. ...I'm probably doing more damage to my body
from the air I breathe, and the food I eat.  ...Jon

what you dont want to do is damage the normal drainage of teh nasal
lining--there are very small hairs (cilliae( that witterly sweep the nasal
lining--damaging them is not a good thing--i know of now studies that
address the toxicity of hydrogen peroxide on the nasal mucosa but i would
give serious consideration of not doing it--

i certainly would not use any iodine solutions like lugos or any herbal
stuf--most of teh herbal stuff is oils that do ahve some antibacterail
effect but once again you are putting an abnormal material onto a verys
ensitive area--normal saline ( has essetially the same osmotic pressure of
your blood ( osmotic pressdure is an measure of the pressure of elements in
solution ( i know this is abs answere but do look it up)
