Some days ago my frontal sinuses closed completely.
(I was in Bruxelles and I couldn't irrigate)
I feel a continuous pain (not headache) at the left eyebrow.
I have to go away for holiday tomorrow and I really
don't know what I could do...
I'm taking steroids and irrigating but it doesn't unclog...

I use 2 Aleve to start my drainage, it is an antiflammatory, like
aspirin.
It always loosens my sinus and congestion.
I take 2 in the morning and 2 later in the day. Use your saline rinse at
night before you go to sleep.
Make sure you lay down after to let your head hang over the side of the
bed.

Try irrigating with extremely cold water.   ...Jon

It finally unclogged. I feel better.
I used lotus root but maybe it was just the
repeating of irrigation, heating, steam, positive and negative pressure...

Exactly how did you use the lotus root, and postive/negative pressure?
I'm glad you got some relief.

I'm not a doctor, I don't want to suggest something wrong or maybe right
just for my situation.(the left sinus was completely blocked maybe because
of a stenosis in the duct)
Anyway this is what I did:
I used an inhaler with drugs my doctor suggested.
I irrigated frequently with saline + backing soda
turning my head upside down, filling ALL MY SINUSES with
the solution. then I applied positive and negative pressure as if
I was breathing but closing the nostrils so the pressure is applied
everywhere including the sinuses (my ears didn't suffered so much)
the second day I also made a tea from the lotus root and I drank and
added it to the saline.
in the evening the sinus finally opened and I had a relief.
Maybe the lotus root was completely unuseful but that's what happened ...
Try on google. It is a remedy from ayurvedic medicine.

I forgot to mention the heating I applied to my forehead using
hot water or a cherry seeeds bag.
Who knows what did the trick anyway it worked ...
