Flonase Question

I've posted previously about my recent sinus problems - and have since
been back to the GP because the infection returned. I'm now on a
2-week course of doxycillin and 2 puffs/day of Flonase (Floxinase in
the UK?). Well, after 2 days the sinuses under my eyes are killing
me....and I can't breath through my nose at all now, whereas at least
I could breath a little before this treatment! Is it the Flonase??
What do I do? Stop using it?

Sorry if this has been discussed before - I've searched the forum but
to be honest, my head is fuzzy and I can't think straight, let alone
read the threads. Not helped by lack of sleep.

Thanks,
Helena

I don't think the Flonase  could make your condition worse, but an inadequate
antibiotic might be an explanation for your feeling worse.

I agree with Dr. Grossan.
Once the doctor prescribed me with doxycillin, but it did not help, it even
got worse! At least, it felt like that.
I went back to the doctor then, and he prescribed me Augemtin (amoxicline
with clavulaan), that seemed to help.
This year i had Zytrhomax, which was also helpfull.

Good luck Helena!

Unfortunately the bacteria have developed serious resistance to antibiotics.
Today we are using double the dose of augmentin that we used 3 years ago.
Same with Cipro.
