I have been reading in this group for about 4 months. I had bad sinsus
infections and elected to have the surgery. During surgery they found
and removed a polyp, which came back cancer. I had to have a total
maxellectomy. Which I'm still suffering from a year later. Has any one
had this? If u want more info I can direct u to one of the few I found
on the intranet. Apparently only 1% of the population gets this type of
cancer.

Cheryl,
I'm sorry to hear about your cancer.
We get so few diagnosed cases of sinus cancer on this NG that I don't
even remember the last time we had discussed one. I wish we could help.
You might try the newsgroup alt.support.cancer

Hi Cheryl, Sorry to hear about your nasal cancer. I am curious as to what
exact type cancer you were diagnosed with, what your symptoms were, and
whether EBV (Epstein Barr virus) was given as a contributing factor in your
developing sinus cancer. Thanks and all the best. AW
btw- There is an excellent non commerical cancer listserv for head and neck
cancers at http://listserv.acor.org/archives/head-neck-onc.html that might
also include people with sinus cancers. They currently have 427 members.
