I have a friend who is three weeks out from her septoplasty, her
excruciating pain is gone (bone spur sticking into the septum) but she
is still having all kinds of problems draining.
She relates that it feels like her right soft palate, and back of her
throat isn't draining right, not from the surgery, but from the
inability x years of it not working right.
Anyone out there suggest exercises/physical therapy for her pharynx, or
palate to improve her drainage?
Thanks in advance.

Try improving overall health level with walks at least, and lots of rest.
Any manipulation of the palate is just likely to make it worse.
