somedays, i feel ive got a bunch of flem in the back and it sometimes
plugs one of my ears up.
for ppl that run or exercise, do you once in a while feel like you're
going to pass out because of all that flem in the back and feels like
you're not getting enough oxygen to your brain, kind of a stuffy
feeling?
hopefully the surgery I'm going to have will fix it all up. I talked to
an ENT a couple weeks ago and I'm going to schedule an the surgery in
September. He's been doing this for over 15 years, 3000+ procedures
with no major problems. Pretty good track record right? This is to fix
my chronic sinusitis that I've had the last 4+ years.

pood, I also have mucous at the back of my thoat and yes my ears feel
full alot. When I exercise, mucous flows down my throat but I do feel
as if I can breathe better though. What type of surgery are you having?
Are they going to anything to your turbinates?

Yes, sinusitis can plug up your ears. My PC doctor has seen fluid
behind my ears on many occasions, but noone connected it with sinusitis
until the ENT who opened up my frontal and sphenoid sinuses a little
over a week ago saw a grayish fluid actually going into my eustachian
tubes before the surgery. I don't know yet whether it is (still there,
but not as bad) inflammation, infection or both. Cultures and tissue
biopsies are being done and I don't have the results yet.
I even had an ENT write in my records once that my PC doctor has
mistakenly diagnosed me with fluid behind my ears. This was 2 months
later, the soonest I could get an appointment.
