I once had an osteopathic physician offer to manipulate my sinuses, and
always wished I let him try it.

We once had a frisky female sinus patient here once, named "Preesi," who
claimed she got sinus relief by applying her vibrator to her face.

Don't laugh, that makes some sense.  The vibrations from her vibrator
probably shook loose all the thick secretions from her sinuses, enabling
them to be removed more easily.  Asthmatics use a "flutter device" whose
vibrations help shake loose the secretions in their lungs.

There is a risk:  She could end up loosening her corneas that way too.
So we advised her to keep her vibrator well away from her eyes.

If you don't have access to a vibrator, you might try this with an
electric beard trimmer which also generates vibrations.

Right - or worse yet the retina if it were on the point of detaching anyway.

This risk may be mainly in the hypothetical category but I personally would not
take the risk.

A proven effective way to apply vibration to the sinuses is sound as a low
pitched "ooooommmmmmmm". Not quite as effective as pulsatile irrigation
butist is effective in loosening secretions in Sinuses and Chest. Also a
Kazoo works.

In addition to the Kazoo there is a device called The Flutter Device, more
for the chest. Try "ooooommmmmm'.
