Interesting, I would have thought it was safer as it is used to clean

I have no idea whether irrigating with dilute polyhexanide would be safe or
not. For a while I'd been wondering if irrigating using diluted
chlorhexadine would help serious sinus infections. While perusing PubMed I
saw this abstract and happened to notice that apparently polyhexanide is a
relative of chlorhexidine. I found no definitive info as to whether
irrigating with chlorhexadine was safe either. always wondering, AW
