Haven't posted here for a long time but I'm getting concerned about my
lungs now. I had FESS (ethmoids, maxillaries with inferior turbs
resected) about a year ago. I am STILL having issues (not infections)
but clogged ears, bloody crusts, thick mucous and most recently chest
tightness/shortness of breath and a very dry throat and mouth. I've
never had asthma, but then again, I never had chronic sinusitis either!
Any words of advice (I am going back to my ENT tomorrow) that might
help me get over this? I've had a really tough ride with sinus disease
- it's made me VERY depressed over this last year!

I have had shortness of breath and a really dry throat/mouth, like
swollen but not like your usual sore throat either, more dry than sore,
since first having sinus probs about a year ago. I don't have great
practical advice but I have been recently diagnosed with a sinus
infection so just to let you know I had breathing problems similar to
the ones you describe and I have no allergy or asthma.
