Mucus solvent besides alkalol

Hi I am in Canada and I am looking for a mucus solvent besides alkalol to
add to the saline solution that I am currently irrigating with. I know
about alkalol and I will buy it once I decide on a cheap source that will
ship to Canada. In the meantime I am wondering what to add to the saline
solution to help speed up the mucus thinning. Thank you.

The best mucus thinner is drinking hot tea / lemon till the urine turns
light.
Ask your doctor about using bromelain/papain enzymes to thin the mucus.

Recently I had congestion and phlegm in my left side of head and irrigation
wasn't helping as fast as I would have liked. I was rereading Dr Grossan's
book and remembered that I had several bottles of bromelain/papain tablets
in my vitamin cabinet. Started chewing 2 tablets 3 times a day and within 48
hrs the crud had cleared. AW
