I have been diagnosed as above after many years of illness and surgery
for chronic sinusitus.  I use antibioticsand prednisone when acutely
ill and various nasal irrigations on a constant basis but am in
unbearable pain especially in the aftermath of my frequent infections.
Anyone familiar with this phrase (polypoid changes) rather than actual
polyps or have any ideas for relief??

There is a "broad spectrum of inflammatory mucosal thickening ranging from
minimal polypoid changes to massive polyposis."  It is not a separate disease
of anything like that.....
