I am considering both, one obviously considerable more expernsive than
the other. I happy to part with the £100+ for the irrigator but not if
the cheaper Douch does the same job. Anybody have any thoughts?

My problem is continual feeling of mucus at back of area between nose
and throat on on right hand nostril, resulting in rather unpleasant
snorting which has bocome a compulsion to do. Problem seems to be
exacerbated by talking! Doctor recently suggested it may be rhinitus.

It could also (more likely?) be chronic sinusitis - you should see an ENT and
perhaps get a CT scan if it does not clear up promptly.

you can download the references on pulsatile irrigation at www.ent-cosnult.com
and discuss these with your doctor.
