Hi, I remeber back in '04 I experienced a most hanous sickness.... I
would wake up with a severly dry throat, no matter if I used a
humidifer or not.... I would cough up phlegm for 3 or so months until
finnally --- I stopped after going on vacation, away from the house but
upon returning --- got sick again but that went away and I spent the
rest of '05 relativly symptom free...
Now, I've been feeling sick again --- I wake up with a "dusty" throat,
and I breathe and I can notice my lungs are rattling -- I coughed up
green phlegm this morning and my lungs feel clearer ---- I'm taking
lotradime and advair,
Is the phlegm colored dark green meen it's bronchitis or am I suffering
from post nasal drip?
Also would mucinex help me?

Could be either bronchitis or sinusitis, or even both. If you're
already taking Advair, I infer you must be asthmatic, in which case it's
very important you see a physician ASAP.
Asthma plus a respiratory infection (either sinusitis or bronchitis) is
not something to self-treat.

I'm not really sure if I had asthma or not, and if I did It certaintly
was just a mild case thereof -- as I participate in strenous sports
i.e. football, and I was prescribed advair 2 years ago and I stopped
taking it for I didn't really need it. THe doctor gave it to me without
really testing me for asthma. (if there is any tests that is.)
Thing is, I just cleaned my room, and vacuumed everything -- so I'm
hoping that it's just allergies and that my cough will go away --- I
dont have a fever or anything it's just this nagging cough --- I have
this tickling feeling in my throat where the neck hits the chest which
makes me cough so much --- I can't seem to get rid of the feeling.

I really think you should see a doctor. Asthma attacks can strike
without warning.
BTW, now that you've said that the tickling feeling is up in your throat
(I'll bet it is just below your Adam's apple, right?), that suggests
post nasal drip in your trachea. Sinusitis, in other words.

What did the doctor recommend? Any prescriptions?
