Well I screwed up and got hooked on OTC this week. Must be season
changes. I going to have the allergy test. My Dr. knows I have no
insurance so He will give me samples of Flonase, Rhinocort and others.
Last year i took Flonase. Then I think Rhinocort. It weans me off the
OTC. I forgot which one workrd the best. He gave me 3-4 different ones
over a 4 month time. I Did the OTC in between seeing him. Then I got
better for 5 months, now He said He will give me samples. Which works
best for congestion? Flonase I think gave me a slight headach. But I
dont care about that. I just need to get off the OTC. I do remember 1
worked great after 3 days. It kept me open enough to stop the mouth
brathing. Thank you

If by OTC you mean Afrin it is addictive if used over 3 days, as I guess you
know.
The steroid sprays you mention are not addictive and not stimulative so they
are safe. There's not that much difference between them for your purposes....

If your Dr is going to give you free samples of Rx steroid nose sprays, the
best choice is the one he has enough of to give you the most quantity. If
you use this type drug intermittently and your sinus problems are chronic,
you'll get limited advantage from the spray you do use. Flonase is the one
sinus med I use all year round. Consider ordering the steroid spray from
Canada with your Dr's Rx if you can't afford to buy them at the local
pharmacy. AW
