Been having problems since before Thanksgiving but I just tried to endure
and hope for the best.  Finally I had to see my ENT doc yesterday.  He did
that scope on me with the long tube with the light on the end so he could
look into my sinus.  Not a pleasant experience.  Now he has ordered a CT
scan.  I was sort of surprised since that was pretty much the last thing he
did last year before ordering surgery.  He did say that the insurance
companies were making changes and he would like to get a CT scan before that
happens.  Apparently some of them have decided not to pay for this now.
Mine hasn't said that yet but he said when one does, usually the others
follow suit.

I feel it's a waste of time for me at this point.  I need, and have
anitibiotics.  I am pretty sure I have a sinus infection.  He was telling me
he has seen tons of sick folks since Katrina (I live in the hurricane zone).
That could be why I have been sick.  There is a lot of mold and who knows
what else since Katrina.  I get the CT scan next Wed.  Wish me luck.

Thanks,

Vicki

But if you're fairly positive that your problems are due to mold, why
don't you relocate to a different part of the country?

The Deep South was always hugely infested with mold even before Katrina.

At the very least, this might be a good time to take a leave of absence
from your employer, and go somewhere else just to get some relief.
