On the contrary, using the rinse kit would keep the perforation from getting
larger. Keeping it clean, clear, means less bacteria eating away at the
edges.

Murray,
Thank you for the advice. That does make sense. What kind of risk is
there with the force of the water enlarging the perforation? When I use
sprays, I'm always careful to make sure that I aim the spray out, kind
of towards my ears. When I use the rinse kit, all that water has no
choice but to go through and all around the perforation. That's what
I'm worried about. I try to be as gentle as I can when using the kit.
Thank you.

As long as you do keep the spray gentle you can't hurt theper foration.
Suggest you practice the squeeze technique with plain water in the sink so
you get competent at keeping a low pressure stream
That's one of the advantages of the Hydropulse, you can set the pressure
just where you want it and it stays at that level.

Murray,
Again, thanks. I've gotten good at keeping the stream at a nice and
consistent barely gurgling flow. I'm glad to know that the rinse kit is
indeed good and won't aggravate my problems.
What is a Hydropulse?

That's my gadget that provides an exact low pressure - gentle, and at the
same time it pulsates at a rhythm to restore cilia function.

Hydro Pulse Nasal Sinus Irrigator is my device that delievers a steady low
pressure stream at a pulse rate that helps restore normal cilia action. See
below.
