Any opinions on the length of time a person spends
irrigating during one session.  I use a Neilmed
bottle and it takes several minutes.  What about
a long duration session.  What if I irrigated for
an hour?  What about two?  Could it be dangerous?

I've read that any more than 16oz of fluid and you could end removing
too many good enzymes.  I also use the neilmed and i usually use the
standard 8oz.  Occasionally, if i feel there is more mucus, i'll refill
it and irrigate once more.

If you irrigate excessively you remove the good lysozyme and other good
products.
If the pressure is correct and if you use pulsation , there is no need to
go above 500 cc or , if there is very heavy pus, go to 1,000 cc.
