My own very cheaply made irrigation solution

I just irrigated with my homemade mixture for the first time.  I found
the cost of premixed stuff way too high for frequent use, especially
when I had everything in the house to make my own for pennies.

I mixed 3/4 C kosher salt, 1/4 C baking soda, 1TBS NuSalt (contains
potassium chloride)and a Tsp. or so of Erythritol (sugar alcohol like
Xylitol).

Felt extremely gentle.

I've had to stop using Rhinocort after two months of steady usage due to
gobs of blood from it, congesting me, and causing lots of bloodiness
upon nose blowing, even gently.  Ny nose is still sore when I try to use
Astelin.

Susan,

Is that per gallon of water?  I don't believe you how much water.

Oops, sorry, no.  I keep it dry, and use 1 tsp. per 16 oz. of irrigation
solution.  I nuke the water and irrigate with it as warm as I can
tolerate; this seems to give me the best results.
