salt absorption using hydropulse ?

Does using a hydropulse twice daily affect the amount of salt you absorb
internally? Would any salt absorbed affect weight gain? My left sinus is
damaged and while most of the saline flows right out of my right side, what
goes up the left side might take from a few minutes to 3-4 hours to slowly
drip out. I might be anywhere anytime when my left sinus finally cuts loose
and 2-3 oz of saline comes rushing out. I'm sure that sometimes I would
absorb some of this solution. I'm curious because for the past year I've
been gaining weight without any clear explanation as to why. I've also been
on a CPAP for this time period and those are the only two variables that
have aroused suspicion as to possible causes of weight gain. Any thoughts?

Sleep apnea is commonly associated with insulin resistance, which can
cause weight gain as it progresses.

When you use the Hydro Pulse as an isotonic solution, the salt is balanced
so that no salt is absorbed. One teaspoon of salt or Breathe.ease to the 500
cc makes an isotonic solution, so it is not absorbed.
It is almost impossible to gain weight because of salt intake, except when
there is a heart or similar condition. The body balances it out.

Thanks for the input Susan & Dr Grossan.

I'm using an isotonic solution.  I'm seeing my internist this friday about
what's going on.  best,   AW
