I just noticed a similar post. I had this type of inflammation and
blockage from about 1981 to 1985. I would have this look on my face.
It would be this wierd bug-eyed stare that I would have. The
inflammation from this duct was so intense that I would have this
involuntary look on my face. It also would be a form of non-verbal
communication where some people would think that I was not
understanding what they were saying to me. The constant discomfort from
this inflammation was almost driving me crazy. In 1985, a doctor from
National Jewish Hospital in Denver gave me a perscription for Nasalide
spray. There was a capillary action and I could feel the medication
being drawn up into my nasal duct. It gave me some relief from a more
greater sinus - rispitary that I still have to deal with.

By the way Nasalide is now Nasarel (same drug) and some doctors still think it
has distinct advantages.

One other thing I want to add to this was that I had an inflammation of
my lower orbitals. This caused me to have blurry vision and sometimes
double vision. At one time, I had to let someone else drive my car
because I could not adequatly see. I would have had a car accident.
The blurry vision did go away and I was able to drive home on the
return trip.
