I have had chronic sinusitis for 40 years. I will be 65 next
month...can anyone explain this finding and the prognostic
significance....I do have pain in that r. maxillary sinus, but the
WATERS FILMS SHOW INVOLVEMENT IN ALL SINUSES......Please help clarify.

Cysts do occur and are not necessrily a problem unless they block drainage.
Still, you would want to see a sinus specialist and get a CT scan done ot
assess your overall sinus condition.
Since you have thickening in all sinuses you probably have allergies to dust
and/or mold...

They're common and mean nothing.

I've got one too but ENT says that they are not the cause of all my
sinus misery. I'm not so sure myself though.
