I know people dont answer my questions in here for some reason or other
(???) BUT am I hearing this correctly that sinus problems are connected
to DIGESTION?

It is believed that anitbiotics upset the gut flora
and cause allergies.

It's still a big controversy.

My ENT suspects it.  But he told me he can't refer any of his patients
to a gastroenterologist because they all deny it.

What it is saying is that in a test animal they have a mechanism as to why
excess antibiotics can lead to allergies.
Explains why the incidence of asthma was higher in west germany where kids
got antibiotic than in east germany where they didn't.

What to do? Eat yogurt to help restore normal flora after antibiotics and
try to reduce antibiotic intake - not always easy.

No, my ENT was referring to the possibility that reflux from the stomach
can splash all the way up into the nasopharynx, causing inflammation.
He has noticed that virtually every one of his child sinus patients has
reflux, and is beginning to suspect the same thing in adults.  The ENT
department at the Cleveland Clinic is becoming increasingly interested
in such a connection between sinusitis and reflux.

See the reason I asked is that my diet is mainly veggies, lean meat, and
potatoes (Ive lost 58 pounds since last summer) and Im always umm
extremely "regular". EXCEPT for recently when I started eating canned
sugarfree fruit (mostly pears) and now Im having issues and my heads
also getting stopped up and my ears are crackling alot. So thats why I
asked. Cause it seems to be what is happening to me!

I had to give up eating canned fruit, both sweetened and sugarfree,
because it was making my sinusitis worse.  I would get a stuffy nose
within an hour or two after eating canned fruit.  I wonder if it's the
preservatives or the artificial coloring.

I don't think it's a digestive problem.  I think I'm allergic to
something in the canned fruit.  (FRESH fruit doesn't do that to me.)

Digestion problems may be tied to allergies!  :)
