I have scarred sinus tissue on my right maxillary sinus cavity. I have
had surgery in 1994,1997,2000 which removed some of my turbinates so
mucosa wont stop when it hits the scarred tissue. Nothing works. I have
been given every antibiotic, in every form(IV, pill, rinse, and the
newer mist containing Cipro. The scarred tissue is cleaned regularly
,but immediately begins to build infection, which leads to blockage,
and infection. The majority of the time I have some form of staph in my
nose. As the years go by it is becoming more painful. Nasal cavity
feels best in air conditioning. Any help????????????

Thom,
When I last had surgery my 3rd in March my ent had to cut off scar tissue
in his office for 3 of my sinsus after the surgery. He did it right in his
office and it was very painfull but after doing it 2 times on some sinuses
the scar tissue did not come back. I had to go back for 4 continous weeks
to keep checking. You have to keep on it, can yours be cut off? And you
have to keep cutting it off till it stays off.
