Am having FESS done to relieve congestion. Will the shape of my nose be
altered - have a slightly deviated septum ?
surgeon is also trained in plastic surgery. Can the surgeon reduce my
nostril span for aesthetic reasons ? Surgeon says, I should get this
done separately afterwards. but I read on the net that aesthetic and
endoscopic surgery can easily be done together.
So can I request him one more time to consider the aesthetic alteration
also ?
or better to keep them separate ?

If he wants to do them separately, you are much better off not pressing him to
chanfe his mind.
.
Trying to change the approach  a surgeon recommends is a recipe for a failed
outcome.

Even though some other surgeons may be prepared to do them together, he
evidently does not have the experience to do them in that way.  So you would be
a first-time epxeriment for him - not a good idea.

To tell the truth, aestthetic surgery to the nose in general is probably risky
in terms of further traumatizing the nose and causing sinus problems.   If you
already have sinus problems, you may be better off to forego aesthetic surgery
althogether.

Mine was definitely altered.
My surgeon straightened out a kink in my septum, and he widened things
out, so my nose is now visibly wider.

You should find a surgeon whose judgment you trust.  If you trust the
surgeon, then let him operate as he decides is best.
