Untreated sinus infections can lead to chronic sinusitis, which is what
I'm now suffering with. Don't make the same mistake I did. Knock out
any acute sinus infections as rapidly as possible.

Generally, no, because it's not effective against many common sinus
bugs. (It's never worked on me.)
But it may be effective against enterobacter, the bug you happen to have.
BTW: A common side effect of tetracycline is Candida (fungal)
infections of the mouth and vagina. Try using Cepacol or Scope
mouthwash on a regular basis while on the tetracycline; these
mouthwashes contain cetylpyridinium chloride which is antifungal.
If you're female, be alert for the development of a vaginal yeast infection.

One side effect on tetracycline is discoloring of your teeth.
My sister was on it and her teeth are all grey now and she used to have
white teeth.
When she went off it her teeth did not return to the color she used to
have.

How long was she on it? I was on tetracycline for a couple of weeks
(tooth abscess), and that didn't happen to me.

It's not that uncommon, though it often improves in adults with
withdrawal of the drug.
In children under nine or 10 who take tetracyclines, the discoloration
is permanent.

`Steve, she was on it for a couple of years for a health reason.
She goes to a lot of specialists in NY City.
She has a lot of health problems and her local doctors told her it was
in her head, so they will not help or know how to take care of her pain.
