is it bad or just ok to open the eustachian tube again and again to
make it bigger, the method of opening it is similar to yawning but you
don't yawn fully, just partially.

replies would be appreciate.

thanks.

The more you FORCE the eustachian tube open, the more it may swell - its like
rubbing your eyes too hard.
If the opening is swollen because of sinus drainage, that's where the treatment
should be directed.
Incidentally other ear conditions such as fluid in the inner ear can give you
the exact same symptoms so it is important to have a correct diagnosis.

dr. grossan, what do you recommend for me to do right now, i'm having
problem dealing with my doctor. because the tympannogram shows only
very slight negative pressure on the left ear, then the rest is
normal, the curve is also normal. there's a 10db difference in my air
conduction and bone conduction by the way.

he checked my ear drum and there's no problem. but i always experience
fullness in my hearing and strong bouncing object when i pop my
eustachian tube.

Again, "popping " your eustachian tube may be too traumatic and may be the
equivielnt of rubbing your eyes hard  and that's why they look puffy.

You might try the following.
don't try to clear the ears at all
do the TMJ exercises at www.ent0consult.com
if that doesn't do it, try Clear.ease enzymes to reduce swelling and thin the
mucus.

is there still a chance for clear.ease to work if nasal spray
(corticosteroid) and fexoxenadine didn't work for me?

thanks.

You realize I am just giving general information here. Only your doctor knows
exactly what your problem is .
But at least doeing the TMJ exercises is priced right.

Clear.ease works differently than the sprays or antihistoamines.
Will it work?? I can't say but it sounds from what you say that it should.
